Keep control of your designs
Workshop projects and version history are saved in this browser on this device. Clearing browser data, private browsing, a lost device, or changing website addresses can make those saves unavailable. Your account does not provide design backup or synchronization.
Download a full-history backup and keep it outside browser storage. Restore a copy and compare its dimensions and versions. Unsaved edits are not included in a saved-project backup.

- Return to the exact preview address and browser where you saved your projects.
- Save your latest valid design, then download each project's full-history backup.
- Open LumiFacet at the new address and use Backups to restore each file as a new project.
- Compare dimensions and history before relying on the new copy. Keep the original files.
Facet editor, optics/rough and jewelry documents have their own import/export controls. Use those controls for those workspaces; a workshop backup is not a backup of every open page.
Geometry and cutting
Presets, dimensions, facet planes and mesh exports are tools for exploring a design. Plane offsets are geometric measurements, not calibrated machine cutting depths. Meet-point solving, machine calibration and independent cutting verification are not complete. Check indexes, orientation, units and dimensions before cutting.
Optics and rough planning
The optical model assumes isotropic, nonabsorbing material and averages polarization at each encounter. Unresolved ray power is not absorption. Results are not a brilliance grade, a laboratory certificate or a realistic colored-stone prediction. Rough fitting searches a finite grid of centered orientations; it does not account for defects or crystal-axis constraints.
Jewelry and manufacturing
The jewelry workspace produces an experimental setting blank. Mesh checks do not establish that it can retain a stone or be manufactured safely. Review fitted bearings, retention, shank, material, process and tolerances with a qualified jeweler. Inspect exported units and dimensions in an independent CAD application or slicer.
Accounts and upgrades
Accounts manage identity and subscription access separately from your designs. Paid upgrades are not available on the early-access public release. A site explicitly labeled as testing may show test checkout; never enter real payment details there. Interface detail—Guided, Standard or Detailed—is separate from subscription level.
Report a problem clearly
Record the website address, page, browser, steps, expected result and actual result. Include a sample design only if you are comfortable sharing it. Never include passwords, verification links, payment details or private customer designs.
